Frosty otter junior!  He may look like a regular frosted and frosted otter may not sound like a real color but even though it's not recognized doesn't mean it's not genetically possible.  He has the B, C, D, and E series of a frosty but then he has the otter gene instead of the agouti gene in his A series.  I look forward to playing around with this color.  I really like the frosteds and he will also bring the otter gene back into my lines.  (at_ B_ cchdcchl D_ ee)

Black SILVER TIPPED STEEL!  I am soo thrilled to have this guy.  He is sweet, and beautiful and I expect he will have a large impact on my herd.  Not only does he have the steel gene but I suspect he has double chinchilla which means every one of his babies will be or will carry chinchilla! Black self gold-tipped steel, carries chocolate and probably dilute as well!  This little guy has developed much better than I originally expected.  He not only has nice type but genes that should be fun to work with!  He has some gold ticking on his right shoulder (last pic) which indicates that he carries the steel gene.  I will breed him to some agouti does to bring out the steel (and hopefully chocolate too)!!  He went to his first show and received great comments.  Actually he didn't receive negative comments but he still placed lower in his class because he was by far the smallest one in his class.  I look forward to seeing him develop!  (_a Bb C_ D_ Es_)
